Thinkwise appoints Aad van Schetsen as International Channel Manager for worldwide growth
Apeldoorn, 30 April 2020 – Thinkwise, vendor of an enterprise low-code platform, has appointed a new International Channel Manager as of May 1st 2020. Aad van Schetsen will help the company, which plans to grow both within the Netherlands and internationally, with the expansion of its partner channel.
Before joining Thinkwise, Aad (58) worked for Betty Blocks as Vice President North America, where he gained extensive experience during their overseas expansion in the US. Prior to this he worked for companies such as Compuware and Uniface, where he was director for over 5 years.
Aad is very keen to start working with his new employer: “Thinkwise has the best low-code platform that I have seen. The uniqueness of this platform lies in the fact that you can ‘recycle’ existing legacy applications. This means that you can quickly make a jump start and create a sound foundation for a new software solution. The software remains technically up-to-date, is easy to modify and expand and legacy is a thing of the past.” He continues: “Thinkwise develops software as software should be developed: manageable, fast, flexible and automated.”
During the coming period, Aad will focus on attracting new partners, such as System Integrators, Independent Software Vendors and Resellers. Earlier in his career he did this with great success by focusing on long-term relationships and relying on his large network within the IT and low-code world.
Aad is extremely ambitious: “In the first year I want to enlist a number of important partners for Thinkwise in Great Britain and Germany. But I also see opportunities in the United States and Australia, where the market is ready for low-code. I expect Thinkwise to become the most important enterprise low-code player within the next three years.”
