PragmatiQ accelerates digital transformation of companies with the Thinkwise low-code platform

PragmatiQ specializes in optimizing the business operations of organizations. Originally, the focus was on the business processes, while the technology was outsourced to partners. In 2017, the company decided to make the transition to no-code software development.

“We had mainly business consultants working for us. They used process mapping and modeling tools to document processes, but they could not use these tools to create applications ” says John van der Draai, Managing Director of PragmatiQ. “This was a major deficiency. However, with no-code our specialists were suddenly capable of doing this themselves.”

While they were able to produce web applications and native apps with no-code, for larger and more complex projects no-code technology has its limitations. John van der Draai: “Demand grew for larger and more complex projects for business critical software solutions, which can handle large volumes of data. The Thinkwise Platform is specifically designed for this purpose. That is why we have now made the transition to low-code together with Thinkwise.”

Expertise

According to John the Thinkwise low-code platform aligns perfectly with the expertise of his employees: “The way the Thinkwise platform works is very well suited to what we do: optimizing business operations with ERP systems. We used to do a lot of ERP consultancy, but in the past few years we have expanded and strengthened our team with specialists and we are now capable of developing complete low-code ERP systems.”

In John’s opinion, the major advantages over traditional ERP packages are the implementation speed and flexibility: “Low-code business software is much more flexible than the solutions from large ERP companies such as Infor, SAP and Unit4. Just try to change something in a suite like that. That’s not easy and in many cases this is when software problems start to pile up. Thinkwise, on the other hand, is an extremely flexible system that enables organizations to become truly agile. They will be able to adapt to market developments much faster and, where necessary, easily update their systems and processes without having to start over.”

Core systems

PragmatiQ signed the partner agreement with Thinkwise at the end of February and, after a few training sessions, will start realizing the first projects for customers. “Thinkwise has been received with great enthusiasm by our consultants,” John concludes. “They will mainly use the platform for more complex projects and back-end systems, where they previously got bogged down with no-code. We have high ambitions. We’ve only just started, but we are fully focused on this system and on becoming the largest and best business partner of Thinkwise”.

PragmatiQ is the third new partner with which Thinkwise has signed a partnership agreement in 2020.
