Olyslager brings LIS Program to the cloud
Apeldoorn, January 23, 2020 – Olyslager, global leader in oil-technology data has transferred its modernized Lubricant Information System to the Cloud in cooperation with Thinkwise. By making use of Thinkwise’s low-code platform and Olyslager’s 70 years of knowledge and expertise in the oil industry, the customers of Olyslager obtain the maximum benefit from the modernized services provided by Olyslager.
Olyslager is the market leader within the oil industry with regard to collecting, and extracting information from, lubrication data. From quality, quantities or any other parameters, all this information can be found in the Olyslager database.
Using this information enables customers of Olyslager, partners and end-users to make recommendations for the correct use of lubricants. This applies to both the automotive and the industrial equipment sectors. Flexible IT solutions play a key role in achieving this. Together with Thinkwise, Olyslager has now developed a new low-code base to accelerate the development of its services to continue to satisfy the requirements and challenges facing their customers, both now and in the future.

With help from Thinkwise, Olyslager has successfully modernized and implemented its own data collection application. This is an application that Olyslager uses internally to collect vehicle details and publish data for use in customer specific portals and online publications.
Synchronization across five continents
In this new situation the LIS System operates completely within the Microsoft Azure cloud. This ensures that the system environment benefits from the latest Microsoft security technology. Olyslager’s customers can now always work with the latest LIS version and features and the application is accessible worldwide on any device with an Internet connection. This allows Olyslager to provide its information worldwide without any delay.
